About the speaker

Johanna Nissinen, MA, speech therapist, is currently working as a doctoral researcher at Tampere University. She is involved in “Mitä sä änkytät” (“Did I stutter?”) research project, which investigates attitudes towards stuttering and the potential activity limitations associated with it. Nissinen’s doctoral dissertation examines the workplace attitudes towards stuttering, shedding light on the challenges and biases that people who stutter may face in their professional lives.
